Collaborative Writing Project
If anyone is bored/interested, I want to start a collaborative writing with someone(s). The rules are simple. I write a sentence, then someone else writes one, etc. The following sentence must actually be coherent and follow the flow of the story, and you cannot write two sentences in a row, even if no one writes for months at a time. So, here's the first sentence to get started:
I have always liked watching the way cream swirls together with coffee.

Just before the two become entangled, the black and the white, I plop my spoon into the cup with a resounding, "Dink!"

I reflect: This will be the last time I can taste a bagel or drink a cup of coffee.

The realisation turns that first bite into a dry, flavourless wad that sips of coffee does not soften and I end up spitting it into a napkin.
